So as I am looking at the list, I am thinking these are part of the extra kit?

This is part of my regular kit

    Standard toothbrush
    Large nylon brush
    handled scrub brush
Scratch cover pencils - too many homes with natural hardwoods and animals with claws.
    Pliers - needlenose
screwdriver set...how else am I supposed to take the taps apart to clean

    In my vehicle

    Brass Brush
    Razor scraper
    hex keys
    electrical tape
    duct tape
twist ties - plastic all sizes
I laughed at this one....and the only reason I have one in my car is because I have the same issue in my cottage.....3 prong reducer
    Sharp scissors
    Crochet hook
    Set of wrenches
    Tweezers

I am sure I am missing something, I wll have to check by tool box later.

It is a great idea to always carry spare tools in your vehicle at all times...you never know what you are going to need at any given time.

    Ken,

Everything on your list except wooden wedges, we only have rubber and they have a piece of nylon cord on them so they hang easily. In addition:
    • standard kitchen sink plug - labeled
    • round drain brush
    • wooden skewers
    • Gel Gloss
    • gloves - cotton & rubber
    • wood repair pens - set of 6
    • Porc-a-fix - 3 colors
    • stainless steel "scrungee"
    • lotion
    • toilet paper
    • tampons
    • magnet
    • spare vacuum bag & belt
    • S hooks
    • WD40 pen (instead of the can)

I was hoping someone would catch the shoe polish!

    Congrats Tonya

When you are cleaning restrooms with ceramic tile and grouted floors, you may notice that there is a certain discoloration in front of toilets and urinals in the grout lines.

When customers don't want to pay for a proper cleaning but still demand you do something about making the floors look better.

We re-stain the grout with the proper shoe polish to match the rest of the grout.

Yes, it works, doesn't wash off with regular mopping but will come off with machine scrubbing if the customer later on gets off the wallet.

We keep 3 on hand, white, black and brown.

Just like paint you can add white to either the black or brown to get the correct shade of dirt.

Also, I didn't put this in the tip but we also keep Q-tips on the wood sticks just for mixing and applying the shoe polish to the grout lines.

    You forgot paperclips!

You'd be amazed at what you can fix with a paperclip.
